Get to Know Bobby

What would you say are your biggest strengths?
All forms of live entertainment and production.

What is the biggest challenge you have overcome with a past project?
Managing a concept expectation into reality with little to no loss of integrity to the client.

Do you typically work with a specific industry?
Live entertainment and corporate events.

If you could plan an event anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Australia!

What performance metrics do you typically use to make sure your projects are on track?
Having the right equipment and techs for the job. I don’t want to micro-manage my crew. Techs are put into positions because of their knowledge. I like when a tech comes to you with an idea or way to approach and project different than your own whether good or bad. It’s always good to step back and take a look from outside of the box and see in. EOD I still normally do it my way…

How would your friends and family describe you the day before one of your events?
Lost in thought… what did I miss…?

What is your favorite part of your job?
A smiling client at the end of the event and the truck doors closing…

What is the first thing you tell your clients when they sign on with you for a project?
That we are here for you. Call or email me anytime if you have any issues or concerns. I have your back…

What has been your favorite project you have worked on? And what about it did you enjoy so much?
Luckily there are too many for me to list… Live Aid 1985? Countless World Tours? Not sure where to start.

We would like to know just a little bit more…

What do you do when you are not at work?
Try to relax and decompress. Spend time with my wife and our rescue dogs. Catch up on the home projects I neglected to do… The statement, “Don’t bring your work home with you,” is very difficult in the industry and the day and age we live in. It’s too easy to be engulfed in your work 24/7.

What is your favorite genre of music?
Like all types but am a 80’s rocker…

Without naming the specific caterer, what has been your favorite thing you have tried from a caterer?
Vodka when all is said and done.

Of all the events you have been to or planned, what has been your favorite?
See how the industry has changed technically from the 80’s till now. All of the events you work or plan have that one second or wow that was really cool…

What is the coolest thing you have ever seen/witnessed at an event?
Said it all above!
