BML-Blackbird is looking for an Account Executive to join our Sales team. This position would be working within an upscale boutique NYC event venue, splitting time between the venue and our Secaucus, NJ office.  Our range of services include audio, video, lighting, staging, rigging, and power distro, and we are looking for someone to work with the venue’s clients, offering any or all of the above, including equipment, crew, management, logistics & coordination.

We are seeking someone that is familiar enough with event technology to be able to offer assistance to clients to help them enhance their events, write proposals (with support from our main office in NJ), and see projects through their completion. We are seeking someone with sales experience and knowledge of the special event industry. The ideal candidate would work with our venue partner’s sales team to ensure clients’ design goals are not only met, but exceeded, and coordinate all details with our production team to ensure smooth event execution. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must, along with computer literacy and an eagerness to grow with our team.
