BML-Blackbird is looking for a Production Coordinator to join our Lighting Department.

This person will work closely with our Director of Productions to ensure all events go smoothly. We are looking for a self motivated, organized individual to join our team, working behind the scenes on our projects. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Working with Director of Production to determine necessary lighting equipment shortages. Source the equipment for sub-rental, negotiate with the vendors, create Purchase Orders, and follow up with Logistics to ensure timely pick up and return of equipment
• Entering equipment lists into computerized inventory software based off of drawings or lists from technicians, salespeople, or clients
• Working closely with warehouse and technicians, communicating all details of the orders and answering any questions

Must have strong entertainment lighting knowledge, knowledge of audio, rigging or staging a plus. Must be extremely organized and detail oriented with strong computer skills. R2 Software experience preferred but we’ll train the right candidate!
